The White Family

by Hosanna, age 13

There once was a family whose name was the White’s. Mr. White (Joseph) and Mrs. White (Jenny) had two children, Amy and Cedar. The White family invited Mr. White’s parents (John and Elizabeth) to live with them. They accepted.

Amy and Cedar had never lived close to their relatives and they became very excited! The Grandparents finally moved in, after what seemed like forever to their two grandchildren! Amy and Cedar loved the time that they got to spend with their grandparents! The whole family loved having them there to celebrate special events like Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and all the other special holiday’s through out the year!

The family’s favorite holiday is Thanksgiving! Each Thanksgiving day, Amy and Cedar thank God for their parents, sibling and grandparents but most of all they are thankful that God has allowed them to be a family!

(Hope you enjoyed it!)

  1. Hosanna, you perfectly conveyed the rich love family can have for one another. I remember wishing and praying that my Grandmother would live with us. Instead, I soaked in every minute of her once-a-year visits. Do you live with your grandparents?

    • Hi Mrs. Senters,
No, I do not live with my grandparents. Right now we are in TN helping my grandma move in with my Uncle ( I wish she would move in with us)! We live about an hour away from my other Grandma and Aunt! I really enjoy the time that I get to spend with them on thanksgiving! Thanks for all your encouragement! I really appreciate it!
